About Me.

I came to this work through living it. Complex trauma, solo mothering, loss and navigating the unexpected.  Finding through all of it, that the most powerful healing tools are often the simplest ones. Nature. Play. Relationships. Connection. Plants. Compassion.

Healing has been a journey for my family too — not a straight line, but a collection of small, quiet glimmers. Moments of connection, of laughter, of something feeling lighter and shifting. I've learned to look for those moments — and to trust that they matter. That they're enough. That they're actually everything. Magic in the messy business of being human, and raising small humans!

Fern & Flow was built from that understanding, and from a deep desire to share it.

That same belief in the power of community led me to become circle leader for The Village Exeter — because I know from experience what it means to need a village, and what it changes when you find one.

Over a decade of NHS experience, mentoring, teaching and working as a specialist Occupational Therapist and Play therapist across CAMHS, specialist child and adolescent mental health services, charity services, therapeutic forest schools and social care. I have had the privilege of supporting children, young people and families through some of the most vulnerable and complex moments of their lives — from the earliest days of parenthood through to adolescence.

Over time I found myself drawn to something deeper — a bridge between the clinical and the spiritual, the evidence based research and the intuitive; science and the sacred. I believe these worlds are not opposites. They are two sides of the same truth. That bridge between professional knowledge and lived wisdom — is the foundation of everything I
bring to Fern & Flow.

This is the work I was always meant to do, and I am deeply grateful do it.
